Level 2 (PCC) Bridging Program
The Performance Coach Level 2 Bridging Program is designed for coaches who have already completed a Level 1 program or hold an ACC credential and want to progress toward PCC through a more advanced coach education pathway.

With completion of a full PCC Level 2 Bridging program, participants can apply for the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the Level 2 Path. PCC applicants must also meet ICF’s current credentialing requirements
Earning your ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential requires five key steps — and the TPC Level 2 Bridging Program helps you complete the remaining advanced requirements. Under ICF’s current structure, PCC applicants through the Level 2 Path must complete a full Level 2 program, meet the coaching experience requirement, and pass the ICF Credentialing Exam.
Included in the TPC Level 2 Bridging Program
1. Education – Designed for coaches who have already completed 60+ hours of Level 1 coach education, the bridging pathway helps you progress toward the 125+ hours of coach-specific education required for PCC.
2. Mentor Coaching – Includes the mentor coaching component required within the Level 2 pathway. ICF requires 10 hours of mentor coaching, completed over 3+ months.
3. Performance Evaluation – Includes the formal coaching performance evaluation required as part of the Level 2 Path.

4. Experience – To qualify for PCC, you must complete 500+ hours of coaching experience.

5. Credentialing Exam – Once you meet the education, mentor coaching, performance evaluation, and experience requirements, you apply to ICF and complete the ICF Credentialing Exam.

This program is designed for coaches who already hold an ACC credential or have completed a Level 1 program with 60+ hours of coach education and want to continue into advanced coach development.
Upon completing the TPC Level 2 Bridging Program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion recognising your advanced coach education, mentor coaching, and successful performance evaluation within the bridging pathway.
Applicants should already hold an ACC credential or have completed a Level 1 coach education program with at least 60+ hours of coach training.

For coaches who have completed ICF Level 1 training or hold an ACC credential and are seeking to upgrade their training and progress toward the PCC credential through an ICF Level 2 pathway.
The Bridging pathway is designed for coaches who already have foundational coaching training. It focuses on advancing PCC-level competencies without repeating Level 1 content, allowing you to complete your Level 2 requirements in a shorter, more focused format.
Yes. The TPC Level 2 Bridging program is part of our ICF-accredited Level 2 pathway and meets the ICF requirements for coaches progressing toward the PCC credential.
The Bridging program is shorter and assumes prior coaching training. It focuses on deepening PCC-level competence rather than covering foundational coaching principles, which are included in the Full Level 2 program.
The Bridging program typically runs over 4–6 months and includes live interactive sessions, mentor coaching, observed coaching, and reflective practice. Sessions are available online, with selected in-person options depending on cohort availability.
